With the opening of Lucas Oil Stadium for the Colts, the near south side neighbors have their fair share of trials and tribulations. One organization is seeing this as an opportunity to overcome a revenue short-fall and to maintain some of the vitally important community programs that it provides. Concord Neighborhood Center, 1310 S. Meridian St., a neighborhood center serving southside Indianapolis families and individuals since 1875, will take the football and run with it by providing parking during Colt's games both preseason and regular season. Lots will be available two hours before game time and one hour post. Prices range from $20 on the Morris Street lot to $10 at the Concord Parking lot. There will be a discount available for individuals who purchase season parking passes. Concord Neighborhood Center is located just 10 blocks southeast of Lucas Oil Stadium. Concord will use this money to fund youth programs in the neighborhood. There are many places to park for games, but this one will support Southside families. For more information call 637-4376.
